I use Rupa Health to order all blood and urine tests necessary for your medical care. You pay Rupa Health directly, which ships the tests to your home. Also, Rupa Health saves you money because tests are at wholesale price.
How can I purchase the recommended supplements, vitamins, or herbs?
For your benefit, I use Fullscript, which gives you access to a 10% discount. If essential oils are recommended as part of a comprehensive plan, I will provide you with a discount code for use at Simply Earth. Everything gets delivered to your home.
What if I need in-person care from a family physician?
Every person should have a family doctor. A family physician will give you access to sick visits, yearly physical exams, and preventive care. I am not a substitute for your primary care doctor, but my plan acts as a compliment.

Do I prescribe controlled substances, psychedelics, or hormone treatment?
I do not prescribe these medications. If your healthcare needs benefit from these pharmaceuticals discuss them with your primary care provider.
Will my insurance cover my visit?
I do not accept insurance, but I can provide a with an itemized bill to submit you can submit for reimbursement to your insurance or your HSA account. Please contact them directly to discuss this before you engage in services.
Do I need to be a patient of Dra. Maria to participate in the workshops or retreats?
No, the workshops and retreats are empowering educational activities. Participating in workshops and retreats does not establish a physician-patient relationship.
What if I can not show up for an appointment?
Payments are due at the time of the visit. Failure to show will result in full charge. If you cancel less tan 24hrs in advance, I will bill the card on file 50% of the total price.
